Hope for Daniel - we need your support!

Daniel has suffered from a severe and rare form of leukaemia since he was 7 years old. For the past 13 years he has been fighting this disease through conventional in-patient chemotherapy, more than 100 outpatient chemotherapy administrations into the cerebrospinal fluid, and a bone marrow transplant. However, these treatments have only offered temporary periods of remission and have not been able to cure the leukaemia.  But Daniel wants to live and is not discouraged by the physical effects of the years of treatment. In spite of these circumstances, he became a student of chemistry in Munich, meets friends, struggles for normality, but right now his prognosis is the worst it has been in many years. His body has reached the limits of resilience. He needs urgent help to stay alive.

All hope for Daniel lies in a new immunotherapy for leukaemia which is well established in the USA and has already helped multiple patients with a similar disease pattern. Now we know: Daniel can get a CAR T-Cell therapy in the USA at Seattle Children’s Hospital. This is his last chance for a healthy life, but the hospital requires an advanced payment for receiving an appointment. The treatment will cost several hundred thousands US dollars.

We want to support Daniel to win the race against time and enable his treatment in the USA with the help of donations. The donated money for Daniel will go to an endowment fund.
